Prince Munetaka

Prince Munetaka (Japanese宗 尊 亲王, Munetaka - shinnō; * December 15, 1242, † September 2, 1274 ) was the sixth shogun of the Kamakura shogunate in Japan. He reigned from 1252 to 1266.

He was the first son of Emperor Go - Saga and replaced at the age of 10 years the deposed fifth shogun Kujo Yoritsune. Munetaka was another puppet ruler controlled by the Hojo regents. He therefore devoted himself to the densities of Waka.
