Prison Break Anthem (Ich glaub' an dich)

Prison Break Anthem ( I think ' at you ) is the first single from the German rapper Azad, in cooperation with the German pop singer Adel Tawil, from his fifth studio album, block letters. The first release of the song took place in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on 13 July 2007. Was written the song of Azad, Florian Fischer, M3 & Noyd and Adel Tawil, produced by M3 & Noyd it was. The cover of the maxi-single is kept black and white. On display are the words of the artist and the title and a picture on the Azad and Tawil or stand on a base of a power pole. Photographer at the cover shoot was Siro Micheroli, the artwork for the cover work took Ben Baumgarten. In addition to the song Prison Break Anthem ( I think ' at you ) contains the maxi-single also a " trailer " version and an instrumental of the song as a B- side. To date, the single has sold more than 150,000 copies.

Background

Prison Break Anthem ( I think ' at you ) was the soundtrack to the U.S. action series Prison Break and arose from the fact that RTL gave the order for a German version of the title song. The original theme song of the series Prison Break Theme composed by the native German - Iranian Ramin Djawadi, who received a nomination for the Emmy for it. The Belgian singer Kaye Styles sang on request of the U.S. TV channel FOX the rap song Prison Break Anthem, which also served as the theme song for the broadcast of the series on the Belgian TV station KanaalTwee. He appeared as a single and a music video. Specially for broadcast on the French TV channel M6 is that of a native of Marseille rapper Faf Larage rapped song Pas le temps as the theme song, which was released as a single and music video. The Japanese singer Namie Amuro sang the theme song Top Secret for the Japanese broadcast.

For Adel Tawil, at this time, singer of the German pop duo Ich Ich, this is the second solo release off of his projects like The Boyz or I I.

Song

Music Video

Prison Break Anthem ( I think ' of you ) reached in Germany in the first week # 3 on the singles charts. In the ensuing weeks, the single rose to number one on the German singles chart. The song could hold a total of 18 weeks in the charts. In Austria, the single position reached twelve and Switzerland position 13 of the singles chart. The song was the most successful German -language song in the German single charts for a period of three weeks. The single reached number 20 of the annual chart of 2007 in Germany, number 57 Years of Austrian charts and # 63 of the Swiss charts of the year.

In Germany this is already the twelfth chart success and the first hit for Top-10/Nummer-eins-Hit Azad. For Adel Tawil is claimed Nobody said the second chart success as a solo artist and the first Top-10/Nummer-eins-Hit hit.
