Przemysław Stańczyk

Przemysław Stańczyk (born 12 February 1985 in Szczecin ) is a Polish swimmer.

Career

He studied sports science at the University of Szczecin. In 2004 he took part in the Olympic Games. With the World Swimming Championships in Melbourne in 2007, he won the gold medal in 800m freestyle after the original winner Oussama Mellouli was disqualified. He presented with 7:47,91 on a new Polish record.
