Puconci

Puconci is a municipality and a town in the historical region of Prekmurje in Slovenia.

Geography

The municipality occupies the middle part of the hill and grave state of Goricko and claimed in the southern area already shares in the sprawling formed by Ledava and Mur plains of Ravensko. The municipality covers an area of ​​107.58 km ² and is bordered on the north by the municipalities of Gornji Petrovci degree and, in the east on the community Moravske Toplice, to the south by the municipalities of Murska Sobota and Tišina and to the west by the municipalities and Cankova Rogašovci.

Population

The municipality counts 6256 inhabitants ( 2008) and consists of 23 villages. Behind the modern place- names, the official Hungarian exonyms are led by 1890 in parenthesis.
