Puerto Rico men's national volleyball team

The Puerto Rican national volleyball team of men is a selection of the best Puerto Rican players, the Federación de Puertorriqueña Voleibol represented in international tournaments and international matches.

History

World cup

At their first participation in a World Volleyball Championship, the Puerto Ricans in 1974 did not come on the 23th square. In 1982, they increased to 15th place at the 2006 World Cup they were twelfth.

Olympic games

Puerto Rico has never qualified for the Olympics.

NORCECA Championship

The Puerto Ricans were out in 1975 and 1979 participated in all the NORCECA Championships. At the premiere in 1969, she was sixth, followed by three fourth. In the 1980s, they occupied twice each the fifth and sixth place, before they in their own country fourth again in 1989. From 1991 to 2005 she reached seven times the fifth place, only in 1995 they were one rank better. Her best result they achieved in the championship in 2007 when they lost to the host United States only in the finale.

World Cup

At the World Cup 2007 Puerto Rico finished sixth.

World League

At the first World League participation 2011 Puerto Rico did not come out the first round.
