The Pune airport (English: Pune International Airport; Marathi: पुणे आंतरराष्ट्रीय विमानतळ, लोहगाव Pune āntararāṣṭrīya vimānataḷ, Lohagāv ) is located about 10 km north- east of Pune in the state of Maharashtra in India. It is operated by the Airport Authority of India and shares the runway with the Lohegaon Air Force Base Air Force Station. The airport is served in the winter timetable 2010/11, four times a week from Frankfurt.

The Pune airport is primarily the Lohegaon AFS Indian Air Force (IAF ) and there were problems in the past due night of civil aircraft movements.

For a long time the construction of a new airport for the Pune region is scheduled and the Government of Maharashtra has appointed an industry consortium to advance the project. As a location, the area between Chakan and Rajgurunagar is provided about 40 km north of Pune on National Highway 50 to Nasik, however, a permit for the construction is not yet available.

There are served by various domestic airlines Indian cities. The status of an international airport has Pune since 2005, when Air India recorded a flight to Dubai, but it has been now reduced to two flights per week. Since 2008, Lufthansa offers a direct flight to Frankfurt. For this purpose, a Boeing 737-800 operated by Privatair used.
