Puschendorf
Pusch village is a municipality in the Central Franconian district of Fürth.
The village is situated on the railway line between Nuremberg and Würzburg in the east Rangau.

Neighboring municipalities are ( starting in the north clockwise): Herzogenaurach, Tuchenbach, Veitsbronn, Langenzenn, Emskirchen.
History
1348 first mentioned in tax records of the diocese of Bamberg, it got its name probably from the Pusch village surrounding forests.
The ancient trade route Nuremberg -Frankfurt, led by Burgfarrnbach - Veitsbronn - Emskirchen over Pusch village, had a significant influence on the development of the place. The Gasthof zum Red Ox was once a horse stable exchange and a hostel for carters.

In 1978, Pusch village to manage Community Veitsbronn, but came with the communities Obermichelbach and Tuchenbach out to establish the administrative community Obermichelbach - Puschendorf - Tuchenbach. Pusch village joined in 1998 from this administrative community of.

On 3 March 2002, it was elected with 68.0 % of the vote for mayor Wolfgang Kistner (CSU ). He was confirmed on 2 March 2008 with 78.9 % of the vote in office.

Education
Pusch village has a Protestant kindergarten with creche and nursery. The former primary school was disbanded in 1975. The children have since been enrolled in Veitsbronn and form their own villages Pusch class.
Regular events
The Pusch villages fair takes place every year on the last weekend of the Bavarian summer holidays.
