Geography
Geographical Location
The community is located about 15 kilometers west of the city of Fürth.
Neighboring communities
Neighboring municipalities are Obermichelbach, Veitsbronn, Pusch village and the town of Herzogenaurach.
History
Tuchenbach was first mentioned in documents in 1284. Today, it is the smallest municipality in the district of Fürth.
Spin-offs
On 1 January 1980 with parts of the territory at that time about 350 inhabitants according Veitsbronn were reclassified.

Mayor
On 3 March 2002 was elected with 61.8 % of the vote to non-executive mayor and confirmed on 2 March 2008 with 73.8 % of the vote in the Official Leonhard Eder (IGT ).
Coat of arms
The coat of arms description reads: Under of silver and black engraved plate head in blue with a silver wave oblique beams, covered by a slight left made golden shuttle.
