Qiu Hongxia

Qiu Hongxia (born 10 February 1982) is a Chinese weightlifter. She was 2006 World Champion in a battle in the weight category to 53 kg body weight.

Career

Qiu Hongxia began in 1991 in the primary school in Yongfu with the weight lifting. Some years later they moved to the sports school in Zhongshan, where she was coached by Wei Xianyu. In 1998, she joined as a sports student at the University of Guangdong. In Guangdong, it has also become established after their studies.
