Queen's Park station

Queen's Park is a railway station in the London Borough of Brent. It is located at the intersection of Salusbury Road and Harvist Road in Travelcard Zone 2 The station is served by London Overground on the one hand, suburban trains between London Euston and Watford Junction, on the other hand, on the Bakerloo line of the London Underground. Some Bakerloo trains call at Queen's Park, rather than continue on up to Harrow & Wealdstone. In the year 2011 there were 5.53 million subway passengers the station, added 2.32 million passengers by rail.

All platforms in Queen's Park are above ground. About 300 meters east of the station is the entrance to the downtown tunnel the Bakerloo Line. West of the station there is an interesting route: Trains the Bakerloo line driving through a depot shed to get to the railway tracks towards Watford. Around one third of the Underground trains turn into Queen's Park.

The train station at the existing West Coast Main Line since 1837 was opened on June 2, 1879 by the London and North Western Railway ( LNWR ). This took on June 15, 1912 the electric suburban traffic on parallel tracks on (known as the Watford DC Line). The Bakerloo line reached Queen's Park on February 11, 1915. Starting May 10, 1915 reversed the subway on the tracks of the LNWR further to Willesden Junction.
