Racha - Letschchumi and Niederswanetien (Georgian რაჭა - ლეჩხუმი და ქვემო სვანეთი, Racha - Letschchumi as Kvemo Svaneti; completely რაჭა - ლეჩხუმის და ქვემო სვანეთის მხარე, Racha - Letschchumis as Kvemo Swanetis Mchare ) is an administrative region in the north- western Georgia. It is bordered by Russia to the north and includes the historic landscapes Racha and Svaneti Letschchumi and the southern part, Niederswanetien ( Kvemo Svaneti ). The region includes four municipalities ( munizipaliteti ), named after its administrative headquarters Ambrolauri ( also the capital of the region), Lentechi, Oni and Zageri.
