Rachael Ray

Rachael Domenica Ray ( born August 25, 1968 in Glens Falls, New York ) is an American television presenter and author.

Life

Her parents Elsa Scuderi and James Ray was owner of the restaurant Carvery at Cape Cod in Massachusetts. After her schooling in Lake George, New York Ray worked as a saleswoman at Macy's in New York City.

Later she moved back to her home and managed in Lake George Brown 's Pub at The Sagamore Hotel. In addition to her work she gave cooking classes, where she taught Recipes for 30 minutes cooking time. The local station WRGB, which belongs to CBS on their 30 minutes dishes, attentive, and they got there first weekly cooking show. Ray had in the subsequent period also radio appearances and published her first cookbook.

Signed in 2005, Ray signed a contract with Oprah Winfrey and King World Productions for a daily television talk show. The show, titled Rachael Ray, produced in New York City, first appeared on 18 September 2006. Ray appeared in guest appearances, among other things on the talk shows The View, The Today Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O'Brien and Larry King Live.

In September 2005, Ray married in Montalcino, Italy lawyer and singer John Cusimano.

Since October 2005, Ray is in collaboration with the publisher, The Reader 's Digest Association publishes the magazine Every Day with Rachael Ray. In various U.S. commercials Ray can be seen as an advertising medium, including for Nabisco crackers and since 2007 for Dunkin 'Donuts. 2008 Ray produced at the Latin American Food Network cooking show Viva Daisy! with Daisy Martinez. 2010 moderated Ray at Food Network cooking shows three.
