RADIUS is an international travel management network and a hotel room buying group with a focus on business trips. With an annual turnover in the network of 19 billion U.S. dollars ( 2009) RADIUS is one of the largest companies of its kind

The network is managed by the corporation WTT Inc.. WTT occurs, however, under the name of RADIUS ( WTT Inc. d / b / a RADIUS) to the outside. Seat of WTT is Bethesda, Maryland. The company in its present form was created in 1992 from the merger of two independent North American companies World Wide Travel Service (Little Rock, Arkansas) and Northwestern Travel Management ( Minneapolis, Minnesota) Woodside Travel Trust, renamed in July 2000 RADIUS - The Global Travel Company. President and CEO of the company since June 2008, Christopher ( Chris ) Vasiliou.

In RADIUS network around 90 independent, scoring most of the market leaders of their country travel agency chains with a total of 3,300 outlets and 23,000 employees in approximately 80 countries worldwide Member ( 2009). Among other things, the travel agency chain cooperates DERPART Vertrieb GmbH (REWE group) and Austrian Office with RADIUS.

Among the largest cooperating with RADIUS hotel chains include Accor, Choice Hotels International, Hyatt, InterContinental Hotels Group, Sol Meliá, World Hotels ( emerged from the sales organization of the Steigenberger Hotels) and the Wyndham Hotel Group. The approximately 25,000 customers worldwide ( including approximately 20,000 companies ) RADIUS is an offer of about 30,000 homes in more than 130 countries available (as of 2009 ).
