Rai Radio 2 (Radio Due) is an Italian radio station in the Radiotelevisione Italiana, the pop music and speech broadcasts sends.

History

The story of Rai Radio 2 goes back to the launched on March 21, 1938 based on large cities second program of state duck Italiano per le Audizioni Radiofoniche ( EIAR ), which is 1944 in Audizioni Radio Italiane ( RAI) renamed. On November 3, 1946, this program was given after a restructuring of the Italian broadcasting the name Rete Azzurra (German blue network). After the introduction of the third program on October 1, 1950, decided to change its name from Rete Azzurra in Secondo Programma (Eng. second program ) on 1 January 1952 to give the stations more identity.
