Raja Gosnell

Raja Gosnell Raymond ( born December 9, 1958 in Los Angeles ) is an American editor and film director.

Life

His film career began Raja Gosnell in 1978 as a driver for the production company Lion's Gate Films and director Robert Altman, who quickly put him as assistant cutter. His first work was the short film The Silence of the year 1982. Afterwards, he worked mainly in film comedies, until he eventually became active as a director and in 1997 Alone again staged at home. Also, as a director, he remained faithful to comedies.

His craft as an editor he studied with William H. Reynolds, for his work on The Sound of Music 1964 - won an Oscar in 1974 for your dreams and The Sting. Discovered and promoted Gosnell was by Robert Altman, worked at his films such as quintet Gosnell as assistant editor. In 1983 his collaboration with writer-director Chris Columbus.
