Ralf Husmann

Ralf Husmann (* September 24, 1964 in Dortmund ) is a German screenwriter, producer and author.

Career

In the 1980s, Husmann was in the cabaret duo Burghardt & Husmann with his partner Hubert Burghardt many years on stage. Since 1995, he established works for the production company Brain Pool, where he is responsible as head writer and producer for various comedy and show productions. There he wrote, among other things, the Harald Schmidt Show (until 1998), the comedy series Anke (2000/ 01), Berlin, Berlin, all Pocher ... or what? and Rent a Pocher (2002 and 2003). He also worked as a writer for the RTL broadcasts Saturday night, shrines Makers live and stern TV and mainly responsible for the series Dr. Psycho. Husmann is also the author of a column in Playboy men.

He gained high reputation since 2004 as a writer of the TV series Stromberg. In addition to his work behind the camera, he is in some episodes of Stromberg supporting role as employee Hans Schmelzer to see.

Husmanns Stromberg was a first unauthorized adaptation of the British television series The Office ( 2001-2003). An online Q & A with the co-writer and star of the successful British series, Ricky Gervais, suggests that Stromberg is not authorized spin-off of the British original ( as opposed to The Office in the United States, or Le Bureau in France). Gervais adds that to the illegal plagiarism settle out of court with Husmann and production company Brain Pool was hit. The Agreement leg hold the names of authors of The Office uncredited Stromberg (from the 2nd season of ) one and, just as financial compensation for Ricky Gervais and his co-writer Stephen Merchant. Husmann has neither the allegations nor the agreement for public comment and has mentioned in interviews to date, neither The Office still Gervais or Merchant in connection with the emergence of Stromberg. Interestingly, bears the figure he presented to Hans at one of their appearances in the second season but a BBC T- shirt.

In May 2008, he brought the novel Not out my day. He also has a television series entitled The little man written for the Stromberg- actor Bjarne girl, which aired on ProSieben in March 2009.

In September 2010, Husmann published his second book, Beware of people.

Beginning of 2014 come two films in theaters, based on Husmanns books. Firstly, the novel adaptation of Not my day and on the other Stromberg - The Movie.
