Ralph Bryans

Ralph Bryans ( born March 7, 1942 in Belfast, Northern Ireland) is a former British motorcycle racer.

The greatest success of his career is to win the world champion title in the 50 cc class in the season 1965.

Career

Ralph Bryans debut with a ninth place at the Ulster Grand Prix 1963 on a Norton in the Motorcycle World Championship. In the following years he started only for Honda, mostly in the small displacement classes. His first win was in 1964 at the Dutch TT him in the 50 class, this was followed in the course of the season two more. In this year he was runner- 50s behind the New Zealander Hugh Anderson.

In the 1965 season get Bryans on its factory-supported Honda in turn three race wins in the 50 cc class, this year it was enough, however, just ahead of Luigi Taveri from Switzerland and Hugh Anderson, for the world title. In 1966, he took both in the 50s and in the 125cc class third overall in 1967, he launched ³ in the classes to 250 and to 350 cm and was fourth or third parties. At the end of the season Ralph Bryans ended his career in the Motorcycle World Championship.
