Raoul De Keyser

Raoul De Keyser ( born August 29, 1930 in Deinze, Province of East Flanders, Kingdom of Belgium, † October 6, 2012 same place ) was a Belgian artist who was a representative of the abstract painting of the 20th century.

Life

De Keyser was an autodidact who found in the 1960s to the visual arts. Previously, he was a sports reporter. It was not until the early 1990s there were major exhibitions of his work in Germany and Switzerland. The Belgian curator of documenta IX Jan Hoet presented by this exhibition in 1992 in Kassel his works for the first time to the wider public.
