Rauchenwarth is a municipality with 667 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the district of Wien-Umgebung in Lower Austria.

Geography

Rauchenwarth located in the industrial district, in Lower Austria. The area of ​​the municipality covers 13.4 square kilometers. 2.92 percent of the area is forested.

History

In ancient times, the area was part of the province of Pannonia. In the core Austrian state of Lower Austria lying the place told the eventful history of Austria.
