Rebecca Pidgeon
Rebecca Pidgeon ( born October 10, 1965 in Cambridge, Massachusetts ) is an American- British actress, singer and songwriter.
Life and career
Pidgeon, daughter of a Scottish professor who grew up in Scotland. She graduated from the London Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in the 1980s, she was a member of the British music group Ruby Blue. Later she moved to the United States.
Pidgeon made her debut in Mamet's Broadway play Old Neighborhood. She starred in the movie The Stranger on the beach ( 1988) opposite Anthony Hopkins in the movie The Invisible (1997 ) alongside Campbell Scott and Steve Martin and film Heist - The last coup (2001) with Gene Hackman and Danny DeVito. In 1994, she released her solo music album The Raven, later New York Girls ' Club and 1998 The Four Marys. In October 2005, her album Tough on Crime, Billy Preston playing on the keyboard appeared.
Pidgeon is married to David Mamet since 1991 and has two children.
