Red Bull Ghana

Red Bull Ghana is a football club from the city Sogakope Ghanaian, who played in the 2010/11 season in the second-class Division One League (Zone 3B). The association also maintains the Red Bull Soccer Academy West Africa with several youth teams in the age groups U- 13 to U- 17th

History

In 2006, Red Bull took over an existing football school called Soccer School Lavantal in Sogakope, which belonged to an Austrian businessman at that time. It was followed by the construction of a new stadium with a capacity of 1000 spectators and two other artificial turf fields. The rise in the second highest Ghanaian football league, the division League One could be celebrated in 2009.

Red Bull Soccer Academy West Africa

The aim of the affiliated to the association football school is the approach guiding young West African players supported by Red Bull clubs in Europe. Longer-term plans envisage that before the transfer of two or three players per year to these associations. First graduate of this program in 2010 was Felix Adjei, who moved to the second team of FC Red Bull Salzburg. For the young players a school with six classrooms as well as several residential buildings for a total of up to 80 people are available.
