Tema Youth

Tema Youth ( officially: Tema Youth Football Club ) is a football club based in the Ghanaian city of Tema. The team carries as the local rivals Real Sportive of their home games at Tema Sports Stadium.

History

For the 2006/07 season Tema Youth rose for the first time in the highest Ghanaian league and was nominated by the Ghana Association after several protests against waiver and game ratings for the CAF Confederations Cup in 2007 and met in the second round on the Cameroonian representative Les Astres. When they first leg in Cameroon did not appear the club was disqualified from the African Union and ruled for three years from all continental competitions. Reason for the non-appearance should have been financial reasons.

Beginning of 2009, the Austrians Attila Sekerlioglu as coach of Isaac Opeele Boateng at Tema Youth.
