Red Lights Flash was a punk band from Graz in Austria.
Career
Formed has the band in 1997. Their goal was to combine political texts and sophisticated punk rock tunes together. After her first album Stop When ... followed by shows in Austria and other parts of Europe. Owing to the increased awareness they could release their second album And Time Goes By 2000 the record label Household Name Records of London. Now they could with bands like Good Riddance, Propagandhi, Strike Anywhere, Satanic Surfers, or AFI Anti-Flag tour. Through contact with the latter, they had the chance her album Free at the renowned anti-Flag label AF Records to release worldwide. Then, still touring as the opening act followed by Rise Against and Alexisonfire, and the first headlining tour of Portugal and Spain. Published in 2009 Red Lights Flash their fourth studio album For your Safety. This was followed by a release tour, more shows with A Wilhelm Scream, Rise Against and Anti-Flag and an appearance at Austria's largest music festival Nova Rock. On 19 October 2010, the band announced on their MySpace profile announced their separation.
