Regina König

Regina King is a former German luger. In the second half of the 1970s she was one of the best lugers interior of West Germany.

Regina King was initially active as a junior. In the Junior European Championships 1975 in Oberhof, she was 19 and thus last three years later in Winterberg Fifth. Her biggest success was achieved by the king, as in 1977 /78 Appreciation of the inaugural Luge World Cup was won in the season, even though she could achieve a podium finish in Igls behind Andrea Fendt and Elke Djan only. Nevertheless, they distanced themselves after the four races of the season the two-time season winner Andrea Fendt to second place.
