Ren Long

Ren Long ( Chinese任 龙, pinyin Rén Lóng; born 21 December 1988) is a Chinese cross-country skier and biathlete.

Ren began his career as a cross country skier. He played first international race in 2004 and 2005 in China as part of the Far East Cup. In 2006 he started in Pragelato Plan at the Olympic Games in Turin. In pursuit race, he finished 62nd in the 50 -kilometer race the 63rd rank. His only cross-country skiing World Cup races contested Long in March 2006 in Changchun. In the sprint, he was ranked 41 and thus did not qualify for the final race. He then joined by cross-country skiers to the biathletes.

Ren debuted in 2006 in Obertilliach under Biathlon European Cup races at international level in biathlon. As 16th in the sprint he immediately won the first European Cup points. Then he made his debut in Hochfilzen in the relay (12th ) in the Biathlon World Cup. Since then he has performed internationally at almost exclusively at this highest level. First career highlight was the Biathlon World Championships 2007 in Antholz, where Long was 82 in singles and 17 in the relay. Also in the 2007/ 08 season the Chinese competed in almost all the races of the World Cup. In the Biathlon World Championships 2008 from Östersund he could Placements 77 in singles, 88 in the sprint and 16 show with the season. But it was only in the final World Cup stop of the season at Holmenkollen in Oslo won Ren than 26 of the Sprint Cup points competition for the first time. However, Ren was no longer considered for the following year in the national team and started again until 2010 at the World Cup.
