René Gartler

René Gartler in 2010

René Gartler (born 21 October 1985 in Vienna) is an Austrian football player at the position of a striker. Since 2012 he plays for SV Ried.

Career

Gartler began his career in the youth of the SK Rapid Wien. In 2005 he came into the first team of the Green-Whites, but did not have three bets out into the Bundesliga. Rapid awarded him then 2005 Kapfenberg SV in the first division. After the end of the loan period, he was awarded the Regionalliga Ost promptly for SKN St. Pölten. He stayed for a year in St. Pölten and returned before the season 2006/ 07 back to Vienna. He stayed for a year in the capital, but could not compete in the team competition of the championship record and completed a single League game. In the following season, Rene Gartler also played on loan at FC Lustenau in Vorarlberg 07, where the striker confident and with 21 goals scorer in the First League.

2008/ 09 Gartler came back from Lustenau and played back in his parent club Rapid Vienna. Beginning of the season Gartler injured in a friendly match against SK Rapids St. Andrew midfoot. It was found a bone marrow swelling in the midfoot. This he did in the first round only to two short sessions and could not score a goal.

On April 5, 2009 Gartler played for the first time from the start in the first team of SK Rapid Wien. In the match against SK Austria Kärnten, the striker moved to nine minutes a cruciate ligament injury and fell for the entire rest of the season and celebrated only in the 2009/10 season his comeback and came into this season still on 19 missions in the Austrian Bundesliga in which he scored three goals. In the season 2010/2011 he was then 16 times in the Premier League on the pitch and was able to achieve four goals.

Gartler joined the 2012/13 season for SV Ried.

Controversy

Due to nighttime escapades in the run up to Christmas 2008 his club colleague at Rapid Andreas Lukse were Gartler, and sentenced to fines, which totaled 5,000 euros in Gart coupler case. Lukse had to pay a sum of 12,000 euros. Furthermore, both received a written warning of the management of their association.

Private

Gart Jewellers father Harald " Harry " was also a professional player and is now (as of October 2013) as a sports coordinator of Rapid Amateure active. René's grandfather Leo is the second announcer Rapid team. Since December 9, 2010 is René Gartler one son.
