Reto Schenkel

Reto Amaru legs ( born April 28, 1988 in Togo ) is a Swiss track and field athlete, specialized in the sprint events 100 m and 200 m. He is a member of the 4 × 100 m relay, the Barcelona finished fourth at the European Championships in 2010 and with a time of 38.62 s holds the current national record.

Leg came at the age of three years as an adopted child from Togo to Switzerland. He grew up in Fehraltorf, in the canton of Zurich. At twelve he started with athletics. It quickly became his talent for Sprinter discipline. Already in 2003 he won his first title over 80 meters at the Swiss Championships of Athletics offspring. In 2005 he took the Olympic Festival of European Youth silver medal in the 200 -meter run. 2006 succeeded leg, with a time of 10.45 s in the 100 meters to break the 36 -year-old Swiss junior record, and thus reached the limit for participation in the Junior World Championships in Beijing.
