Revelations - The Revelation (Original Title: Revelations ) is an American mini-series of the NBC broadcasts from the year 2005 with a mix of genres of mystery, drama and thriller. It deals with the theme of the Apocalypse, the title of the series is modeled according to the book of Revelation in the New Testament of the Bible.

Action

In the center of the story Dr. Richard Massey and Sister Josepha Montafiore stand on the side of good and the Satanist Isaiah Haden on the side of evil.

Richard Massey is a well known and renowned astrophysicist at Harvard University. He has just returned home after he has even the brutal murderer of his daughter Lucy, the Satanist Isaiah Haden, chased and put behind bars. Massay itself is by and by scientists. Accordingly, he does not believe in miracles and prophecies, as described in the Bible. Due to the loss of his daughter and his wife, who left him because of that, he is pretty much at the low point of his life and primarily by the desire to have bestowed be the murderer of his daughter just punishment, driven.

In the meantime, Sister Josepha Montafiore, which works for the Eklind Foundation, a wealthy Christian organization called to a brain-dead girl in a hospital. The girl had previously been hit by lightning twice and speaks in a coma since Latin verses from the Book of Revelation. Josepha considers this to be a sign from God and decides to investigate further this miracle. She asks then Dr. Massey for help, the secret to uncover the apocalypse.

The two faces Isaiah Haden, who sees himself as a preacher of evil and controlled from prison his followers. To prepare for the arrival of the Antichrist, he lets Massey's son Hawk kidnap and Lucy tries to seize. At the same time he gathers satanic sermons by the inmates of the prison as a further trailer around.
