The Reykjavík Airport (Icelandic Reykjavíkurflugvöllur ) is the domestic airport of Iceland's capital Reykjavik. He is very close to the urban area, from which it is bounded on the west and north. To the south lies the sea, to the east the recreation area Öskjuhlíð. International flights (except to Greenland and the Faroe Islands) are handled by the 50 km to Keflavík Airport.
Airlines and destinations
Air Iceland operated from Reykjavík airport from most of Iceland's goals. In summer, Greenland destinations will be served. In addition, Atlantic Airways operated twice ( three times in the summer ) the route to the Faroe Islands.
