Rheingau Literatur Preis
The Rheingau Literature Prize is since 1994 in the Rheingau Festival of Literature, which adjoins the Rheingau Music Festival, awarded. With this literary prize awarded annually authors whose " literary prose has drawn attention to literary criticism in the past twelve months. "
The prize money of 11,111 euros, which will be taken over 5,000 by the Hessian Ministry for Science and Art, as well as from the Rheingau Music Festival, the rest controls the main sponsor. Connected to the award is the endowment of 111 bottles Rheingau Riesling, the Association of German predicate and quality wineries eV Rheingau donates.
