Richard and Maurice McDonald

Richard James " Dick" McDonald ( born February 16, 1909 Manchester, New Hampshire; † July 14, 1998, Bedford, New Hampshire) and his brother, Maurice James "Mac" McDonald ( * November 26, 1902, Manchester, New Hampshire; † December 11, 1971, Riverside, CA ) were American fast -food pioneers.

Her parents, Patrick J. McDonald and Margaret were in 1877 or 1884 emigrated as young children from Ireland to the USA. 1910 the family lived in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire. Patrick opened in 1937 near the airport of Monrovia, California Restaurant The Airdrome.
