Riguldi (Swedish Rickul, Rick Holtz German ) is a village (Estonian küla ) in the rural community Noarootsi ( Noarootsi vald ) in Lääne in Estonia.

Population and location

The place has six inhabitants ( 31 December 2011). It is located 22 km north of the district capital of Haapsalu, on the Baltic coast.

History

The village was first mentioned in 1540 under the name Ryckholt.

After 1604, the Court Rick Holtz was born. From 1704 until the expropriation in the course of the Estonian land reform in 1919, he belonged to the noble family dove. This single storey wooden mansion with its high roof dates from the first half of the 19th century. Today it houses a boarding school for young people with disabilities.
