Ebeltoft is a Danish village in southern Djursland, located at the northern end of the Kalo Vig and about two kilometers north of Castle Kalø. Knebel is between Aarhus (22 kilometers west ) and Grenaa (32 kilometers north-east ) on Djurslandmotorvejen (15). It belongs to the church Bregnet Sogn, local to Syddjurs municipality. By 2007, the seat was Ebeltoft Ebeltoft municipality in Århus Amt.

Ebeltoft is one kilometer north of Bregnet Kirke.
