Robert Dalban

Robert Dalban (real name: Gaston Barre, born July 19, 1903 in Celles- sur -Belle ( Deux -Sèvres ), † April 3, 1987 in Paris) was a French actor.

The knautschgesichtige actor became famous under the director Henri -Georges Clouzot in Quai des Orfèvres. His face appears in supporting roles of more than two hundred films. In memory he remains primarily as a Resistance comrade Danielle Darrieux ' in Marie- Octobre, as editor in chief of Jean Marais and Mylène Demongeot in the three Fantômas comedies and as for high dowry parched restaurateur and father of Manette alias Claude Jade Edouard Molinaros My Uncle Benjamin.
