The Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium (abbreviated RFK Stadium ) is a sports stadium in Washington, DC, USA. The owner is the city of Washington and the stadium will be administered by the DC Sports & Entertainment Commission. The stadium has 56,692 seats.

In 1961 it was used as D.C. Stadium opened and was for 36 years home to the American football team Washington Redskins. 1997 emigrated to Maryland and the Redskins wear since their games at FedExField. Furthermore, it was home of many other Washington clubs.

In 1969 the stadium was renamed RFK Stadium, in honor of the murdered 1968 U.S. Senator and presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy.

In 1994, during the football World Cup in 5 games played in the stadium and 2003 as a doubleheader six group matches of the Football World Cup of women.

Currently there playing the Major League Soccer team DC United. In addition, the stadium with the Eagle Bank Bowl hosts a college football final match.

The national football team of the United States was far from a total of 22 games at RFK Stadium, as many as in any other stadium in the world. On 2 June 2013, it won there as part of the celebrations for the 100th anniversary of the U.S. Football Association 4-3 against the German national soccer team.
