Rodrigo Costa ( born July 30, 1975 in Laranjal Paulista, Brazil, Rodrigo Barbosa Rodrigues Costa full name ) is a former Brazilian footballer.

Career

Rodrigo Costa was an aerially strong central defender. In his youth, he played at EC XV Novembro de Piracicaba. After that he was in Portugal for the CS Marítimo and long time in Brazil for the clubs SE Palmeiras and Guarani FC, ​​EC Juventude, Gremio and Santos FC active. Overall, he graduated in Series A 160 matches and scored 4 goals.

In 2002 he moved to TSV 1860 Munich in the 1st Bundesliga, where he became a regular player.
