Rohožník, Malacky District

Rohožník (up to 1948 Slovak " Rarbok " - until 1927 " Ralboch "; German Rohrbach, Hungarian Nádasfő - 1873-1907 Rohrbach - older even Rarbók ) is a municipality in western Slovakia.

Location

The place is located in the region Zahorie, at the foot of the Little Carpathians. The nearest towns are Malacky in the West, Stupava the southeast and Šaštín - Stráže in the north. West of Rohožník extends the Truppenübungsplatz Zahorie over a length of almost 40 kilometers in the southwest-northeast direction.
