Roland Kaspitz

Roland Kaspitz ( born November 1, 1981 in Spittal an der Drau ) is an Austrian ice hockey player who is under contract with the Asplöven HC of the Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan since 2013.

Career

Kaspitz began his career in the young EC VSV, where already he regularly came to Bundesliga appearances at age 18. After five years, the striker joined for one season for HC Innsbruck, after which he returned to the VSV. In twelve Bundesliga seasons Kaspitz completed 515 games and scored 363 points. In September 2012, the Austrian-born moved to the reigning German second division champions Landshut Cannibals.

Kaspitz is also a part of the Austrian national team - he took so far participated in nine World Championships, four of A World Championships.
