Role, West Pomeranian Voivodeship

Role ( German Röhlshof ) is a village (hamlet ) in the Polish rural community Rabino ( United Rambin ) in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship Świdwiński powiat. It is 14 kilometers northeast of the county town Świdwin ( Schivelbein ) on the western shore of the Mogilica ( Muglitz ).

History

In 1880 Röhlshof was (also Guest reason or Rühlshof or Röhshof called ) a Vorwerk of Arnhausen (now Polish Lipie ) and belonged until 1945 to the Belgard. In 1939 there were in the village 58 landowners at 244 residents. The local character was that of a dispersed settlement, in which many farms were located far from the center.

Röhlshof was away from thoroughfares, however, close to the railway line Berlin -Stettin - Pomerania - Gdansk - Kaliningrad ( station: Nelep ( Nielep ) ). It was part of the official and the civil registry district Arnhausen in the District Court area Bad Polzin ( Połczyn -Zdrój ). Last officers before 1945 were the Mayor municipality Dettmann and Schumacher, Chief Administrator Karl Griep and registrar Walter Frank and Hans -Ulrich Pretzell.

The Red Army occupied the place in early March 1945 came as a result of the Second World War with Poland. The German population was expelled. Today Role is a district of the rural municipality ( gmina wiejska ) Rabino.

Church

Röhlshof was the parish church in the municipality Arnhausen, which together with the parishes Langen ( LEGI ), Retzin ( Rzecino ) and Zwirnitz ( Świerznica ) the parish Arnhausen formed. Thus, the place belonged to the Church of the Church Province of Pomerania Belgard county in the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union. 1940 was one of the parish church members in 2140 it came up even the church United Rambin with 1718 parishioners. Last German pastor was Egbert Zieger.

Role Today belongs to the parish Koszalin ( Koszalin ) of the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland, based in Sopot ( Sopot ) Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church ( Lutheran). Kirch places are Białogard ( Belgard ) and Świdwin ( Schivelbein ).
