Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Lahore

The Archdiocese of Lahore (Latin: Archidioecesis Lahorensis ) is a location in Pakistan Roman Catholic archdiocese based in Lahore.

History

The diocese of Lahore was posted on September 1, 1886 by Pope Leo XIII. built out of territory of the Apostolic Vicariate of Punjab. It was the Archdiocese of Karachi is a suffragan. The diocese of Lahore was in its history several times parts of its territory from the creation of new apostolic prefectures. On April 23, 1994, the Diocese of Lahore was raised to the archbishopric.
