Roman Catholic Diocese of Alindao

The Diocese of Alindao (Latin Dioecesis Alindaoensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Alindao in the Central African Republic. It includes the Basse- Kotto prefecture.

It was established on 18 December 2004 on a portion of the diocese and the Archdiocese of Bangui Bangassou a suffragan.

For the first bishop appointed by Pope John Paul II, the Provincial of the Spiritanerordens in Germany, Father Peter Marzinkowski, CSSp. 14 May 2012 he presented Pope Benedict XVI. the former Vicar General Cyr- Nestor Yapaupa as Coadjutor Bishop to the side.
