Roman Catholic Diocese of Bắc Ninh

The Diocese of Bac Ninh (Latin: Dioecesis Bacninhensis ) is a location in Vietnam Roman Catholic diocese based in Bắc Ninh.

History

Pope Leo XIII. founded the Apostolic Vicariate Nordtonking on June 1, 1883 annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate Osttonking. On December 31, 1913, lost part of its territory in favor of the Prefecture Apostolic of Lang Son and Cao Bang.

On November 3, 1924, was a part of the Vicariate Apostolic of Yunnan and took the name Apostolic Vicariate Bắc Ninh. With the Apostolic Constitution Venerabilium Nostrorum it was collected on 24 November 1960 bishopric.
