The Diocese of Byumba (Latin: Dioecesis Byumbanus ) is a location in Rwanda Roman Catholic diocese based in Byumba.

History

The Diocese of Byumba was established on November 5, 1981 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Quandoquidem experientia of annexations of the dioceses Kabgayi, Kibungo and Ruhengeri and the archbishopric of Kigali is a suffragan.
