Roman Catholic Diocese of Ruhengeri

The Diocese of Ruhengeri (Latin: Dioecesis Ruhengeriensis ) is a location in Rwanda Roman Catholic diocese based in Ruhengeri.

History

The Diocese of Ruhengeri was posted on December 20, 1960 by Pope John XXIII. built with the Apostolic Constitution Fidei Cum from cessions of territory of the Archdiocese and the Diocese Kabgayi Nyundo. On November 5, 1981, the Diocese of Ruhengeri were parts of its territory from the foundation of the Diocese of Byumba.

The Diocese of Ruhengeri is the Archdiocese of Kigali is a suffragan.
