The Diocese of Civita Castellana (Latin: Dioecesis Civitatis Castellanae, Italian: Diocese of Civita Castellana) is located in Italy Roman Catholic diocese based in Civita Castellana.

History

The Diocese of Civita Castellana was founded in 990 by Pope John XV. built and the Holy See under the direct. The Diocese of Civita Castellana was affiliated with the Diocese of places on October 5, 1437. On December 20, 1805 the Diocese of Civita Castellana and places became affiliated with the diocese Gallese.

The Diocese of Civita Castellana, places, and Gallese was incorporated into the diocese of Nepi and Sutri on 11 February 1986. On February 16, 1991, the Diocese of Civita Castellana, places, Gallese, Nepi and Sutri was renamed the Diocese of Civita Castellana.
