Roman Catholic Diocese of Forlì-Bertinoro

The Diocese of Forlì- Bertinoro (Latin: Dioecesis Foroliviensis - Brittinoriensis ) is a diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in Italy based in Forli.

History

The Diocese of Forli was founded in the 4th century. As the first bishop applies Mercuriale of Forli, who had 359 participants at the Council of Rimini and died around 406. The Diocese of Bertinoro is much younger: It was built in 1360. On 30 September 1986, the two dioceses were united to the diocese today.
