The Diocese of Geita (Latin: Dioecesis Geitaensis ) is a location in Tanzania Roman Catholic diocese based in Geita.

History

The Diocese of Geita was established on 8 November 1984 Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Summi Pontificis out of territory of the Diocese of Mwanza and Tabora the Archdiocese is a suffragan. On November 18, 1987, the Diocese of Geita was the Archdiocese of Mwanza is a suffragan.
