Roman Catholic Diocese of Hưng Hóa

The diocese Hưng Hóa (Latin: Dioecesis de Phat Diem, Vietnamese: Giao Phan Hưng Hóa ) is a location in Vietnam Roman Catholic diocese based in Hưng Hóa.

History

Pope Leo XIII. founded the Apostolic Vicariate Obertonking on April 15, 1895 from annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate Westtonking. On November 3, 1924, took the name Apostolic Vicariate Hưng Hóa.

With the Apostolic Constitution Venerabilium Nostrorum it was collected on 24 November 1960 bishopric.
