Roman Catholic Diocese of Kiayi

The diocese Kiayi (Latin Dioecesis Kiayiensis ) is a diocese located in the Republic of China to the Roman Catholic church located in Jiayi. It is located in the western part of Taiwan.

History

Pope Pius XII. founded the Apostolic Prefecture Kiayi with the Apostolic Constitution Ne nimia Missionum on August 7, 1952 from annexations of the Apostolic Prefecture of Kaohsiung.

On April 16, 1962, she was charged with the Apostolic Constitution Cum Apostolica to the diocese and the Archdiocese of Taipei assumed as suffragan.
