Roman Catholic Diocese of Lạng Sơn and Cao Bằng

The Diocese of Lang Son and Cao Bằng (Latin: Dioecesis Langsonensis et Caobangensis, Vietnamese: Giao Phan Lạng Sơn Cao và Bằng ) is a location in Vietnam Roman Catholic diocese based in Lạng Sơn.

History

Pope Pius X founded the Apostolic Lạng Sơn and Cao Bằng Prefecture on December 31, 1913 from annexations of the Vicariate Apostolic of Tonkin.

On 11 July 1939 she was elevated to the Apostolic Vicariate of the Apostolic Constitution Libenti animo. With the Apostolic Constitution Venerabilium Nostrorum it was collected on 24 November 1960 bishopric.
